Sparta Performance Gathering Tool

Sparta Performance Gathering Tool

Please download it and run it on your system (whichever are having the issues). For most general purposes, you can run the install.sh script and follow the prompts:

# cd /tmp
# wget https://github.com/jasonba/sparta/raw/master/sparta.tar.gz
# tar -xzvf sparta.tar.gz
# ./installer.sh

Do not stop the scripts or create an archive of existing statistics when prompted after a short period; please allow them to continue to run. Be sure to note when you experience the undesirable performance so we can correlate the information to our findings.

After an hour (which should include the observed performance issues), please run:

/perflogs/scripts/sparta.sh stop
/perflogs/scripts/sparta.sh tarball
